Jurors in Baltimore have just convicted Michael Johnson of murder in the death of Phylicia Barnes, according to ABC2News.
Wednesday marked the third day of deliberations, and jurors have just returned the “guilty” verdict.
Late Tuesday night, jurors re-watched two pieces of video. Jurors asked to see surveillance footage of Michael Johnson purchasing a plastic tub in a local WalMart store.
They also re-watched the sex tape involving Barnes, Johnson, Barnes’ sister Deena, and Johnson’s brother.
The court ruled that Michael Johnson killed Phylicia Barnes, then put her body in a container and dumped the body of the North Carolina teenager into the Susquehanna River.
His lawyers insisted that Johnson had no motive for the crime.
