Police are currently engaged in a shootout and standoff with Christopher Dorner, the fugitive ex-LAPD police officer suspected of killing three people and declaring war on the his former police force.
Dorner has now barricaded himself in a cabin in the San Bernardino Mountains, according to law enforcement sources.
Two police officers have been shot and wounded in the exchange.
Dorner reportedly burglarized a cabin on the mountain resort area where, just days ago, his truck was found burning.
Two people were bound and trapped inside the cabin, but one of them managed to escape and call police around 12:50 p.m. PST.
Occasional gunshots can now be heard emanating from the area and the FAA has imposed flight restrictions over the area.
