Orioles Ravens Stadiums Maryland Stadium Authority Bans Smoking at Oriole Park and M&T Bank StadiumIf you’re planning on taking in a game at Camden Yards, be prepared to do it without your smokes.

As of March 4, there will be no smoking allowed at Oriole Park and M&T Bank Stadium.

The smoking ban comes directly from the Maryland Stadium Authority and will apply to all games and events held within the two facilities located at Camden Yards, both Oriole Park AND M&T Bank Stadium.

The ban prohibits the “the burning of a lighted cigarette, cigar, pipe, or any other matter or substance that contains tobacco” within the two stadiums, whether such spaces are covered or uncovered, walled or exposed, or open or closed to public access.

The ban also prohibits smoking within 25 feet of any entrance, outdoor air intake, or operable window of the stadium structures.

The Orioles are expected to announce a policy that will accommodate smokers prior to Opening Day 2013.
