A Baltimore City Sheriff’s Deputy has been transported to Shock Trauma after being shot inside the juvenile detention center.
A weapon was reportedly fired inside the detention center on North Gay Street, according to ABC2News.
According to the Baltimore City Fire Department, medics took the deputy to University of Maryland Shock Trauma for treatment.
It is not known how badly the deputy was wounded, although the injuries do not appear to be life-threatening.
