A Montgomery County teacher living in Dundalk has been arrested for being in possession of child pornography.

Lawrence Joynes, 54, who lives on Ormand Road in Dundalk, taught music at New Hampshire Estates Elementary School in Silver Spring.

Police found child pornography a computer at his home in Dundalk.

Joynes is now being held at the Baltimore County Detention Center on $1 million bail.

Montgomery County Police will also now be launching an investigation to see if any criminal offenses took place in that county.
