Home Invasion Kingsville Home Invasion: Robbers Posed as Police OfficersPolice in Baltimore County say that an armed home invasion took place on Monday in the 7400 block of Mount Vista Road in Kingsville.

At around 8:30 a.m. EST, two armed men said they were police officers and forced their way into a home.

The suspects stole several items, including cash, according to police. Two male victims were tied up but were eventually freed by a family member.

One of the victims was taken to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

The two suspects – said to be two white males – fled the scene.

Baltimore County Police are cautioning residents to be careful when answering their doors for persons claiming to be police officers. All officers should have proper ID on them as well as a badge. If residents have any doubt about the person(s) at their door, they should call 911 and NOT open the door.
