Firefighters battled a blaze at a home in Towson on Thursday afternoon.
Authorities said fire crews were called to a home in the 660 block of Queens Ferry Road at about 1 p.m. EST on Thursday.
When crews arrived, smoke was billowing from the windows of the home.
No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire was not immediately known.
On Friday, a home caught fire on Putty Hill Avenue in Parkville just before 8 a.m. EST.
A crossing guard noticed the fire and called 911 right away.
When firefighters arrived at the scene, the entire home was engulfed in flames.
There were no reports of injuries and drivers are being advised to avoid Putty Hill Avenue.
