Police in Washington D.C. say 13 people have been injured in a drive-by shooting outside an apartment complex in northwest Washington.
Thirteen individuals reported some type of injury in the Monday morning incident on North Capitol Street, according to FOX 45.
One man was reportedly seriously injured, but fortunately no one suffered any life-threatening injuries.
All of the victims were said to have been conscious and stable afterward.
The shooting occurred at about 2 a.m. EDT in the neighborhood of North Capitol Street and New York Avenue.
Police believe shots emanated from two vehicles that were traveling down the road at a high rate of speed.
Authorities do not yet have a motive in the shooting and still need to interview multiple witnesses.
On Monday morning, detectives were on the scene Monday gathering evidence and reviewing footage from surveillance cameras.
