Police are investigating what would appear to be a hit-and-run incident on the inner loop of I-695.

Officials say the female victim, Judith Hill, was stuck and killed at around 7:30 a.m. EDT near Edmondson Avenue.

At this hour, all lanes of the inner loop are blocked and the inner loop is backed up all the way back to I-95.

Commuters are being advised to use Rolling Road and Frederick Road as alternate routes.

Police have not released any further details and an investigation into the accident is ongoing.
