Police need your help tonight in tracking down the person responsible for that fatal hit-and-run accident that killed a Halethorpe woman along the inner loop of I-695 earlier this week.
Judith Hill was struck and killed by a vehicle after she got out of her car near the Edmondson Avenue exit early on Thursday morning. The driver of the car that hit her did not stop.
Authorities aren’t certain that the Impala struck and killed Hill but, based on debris found at the scene, they’d like to have a look at the car to see if it was indeed involved.
Police think Hill was struck at around 5 a.m. EDT Thursday morning, but it wasn’t until around 7:30 a.m. EDT that someone finally spotted the body lying against the median and called 911.
Judith Hill’s 2007 Chevrolet pickup truck had been stopped on the right shoulder of I-695.
Isaac Hill, the victim’s son, says his mother got out of her truck to snap photos of the area in which she had been rear-ended on Sunday.
“I knew that she wanted to go back to the scene to take pictures of where she was hit. I didn’t know she was going this morning,” Issac Hill said.
Judith Hill died at the scene.
