A man from Pennsylvania man has convicted of stealing hundreds of bronze grave decorations from a cemetery located in Hagerstown.

Bryan Lynn Fishack was found guilty on Thursday and has been sentenced to serve four years in state prison.

Fishack, 27, was charged with stealing 293 bronze vases (worth over $40,000) from the Rest Haven Cemetery on Pennsylvania Avenue.

Police say that, after the thefts in October, a woman called a Washington County Sheriff’s deputy and told them that Fishack had provided her with crates-full of vases and instructed her to sell them.

A second woman later told authorities that she too had received vases from Fishack and sold them to a scrap metal company.
