Winter Weather Advisory issued for much of Maryland

Winter Weather Winter Weather Advisory issued for much of MarylandDo we believe it this time?  Winter weather is supposedly on its way, and the National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for much of the state.

Any snow that falls during the daytime hours on Monday will have to battle the high March sun angle, making accumulating snow difficult to achieve.  Snowfall rates would have to be impressive in order to cause any stickage during the day Monday.

As snow comes in overnight tonight, though, it will have a much better change of sticking to grassy areas and even some roadways, as long as temperature fall enough to allow it to do so.

As a result, about 1 to 3 inches is expected to fall along much of the Interstate-95 corridor, with the highest amounts on grassy and elevated surfaces.
