Snow leads to power outages, lane closures on Bay Bridge
The wintry weather across Maryland is causing more headaches on this Monday, as power outages and lane closures along the Bay Bridge are being reported.
As of 10:45 a.m. EDT, there were approximately 1,100 BGE customers without power.
BGE expects the heavy, wet snow to be an issue as it often leads to downed tree limbs.
Meanwhile, the MDTA says that the Westbound right & center lanes of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge are closed due to falling ice.
The Westbound left lane is currently and crews are on both spans, but there are no delays.
