A press conference featuring Dumervil, coach John Harbaugh and inside linebackers coach Don Martindale is set for 2 p.m. EDT Tuesday afternoon.
Word of Dumervil’s signing initially broke over the weekend.
Dumervil recorded 63 1/2 sacks over seven seasons with the Denver Broncos.
He had agreed to lower his 2013 salary from $12 million to $8 million, but the paperwork didn’t reach the NFL offices in time.
The Broncos were forced to release him on March 15, and the Ravens were quick to scoop him up.
Dumervil will wear No. 58 – his college number – with the Ravens.
Pro Bowl defensive tackle Haloti Ngata has worn 92 – the same number Dumervil wore in Denver – throughout his eight-year career with the Ravens.
Dumervil, therefore, will go back to the number he wore in college at Louisville.
