2 men arrested in Columbia home invasion robbery

Home Invasion 2 men arrested in Columbia home invasion robberyPolice in Howard County have arrested two male suspects in connection with a March home invasion robbery in Columbia.

Authorities nabbed Jordan Ingram, 23, of Randallstown and Dennis G. Smith, 24, of Hyattsville.

The incident took place in the 9000 block of Watchlight Court in Columbia at about 3:30 a.m. ET on March 28th.

Three masked men entered the victim’s home after he had been struck in the head when he opened the door.

The men stole a safe from a closet which contained cash, gold, medicine and jewelry.

The victim suffered minor injuries in the incident.

Witnesses said that they saw a white SUV leave the residence at around that same time, police said.

Detectives have executed search warrants at the suspects’ homes and have recovered some of the stolen property, police said.

The two men have been charged with robbery, burglary and theft. Ingram is also facing assault charges. The third suspect is still believed to be at large.
