Chesapeake High School Skylar Marion, Chesapeake High School student, dies after Pasadena hit and runOne of the teens injured in that hit-and-run in Pasadena over the weekend has died.

Skylar Marion, one of two pedestrians struck on Friday night, died Monday from injuries sustained during the crash, according to Anne Arundel County Police.

Marion, 15, was a ninth grader at Chesapeake High School in Anne Arundel County.

Friday night, police say he was walking on the shoulder of the westbound lane along Mountain Road when he and a female teen were struck by a Ford Expedition.

A third female, a 13-year-old from Glen Burnie, was uninjured in the incident.

Marion was taken to Shock Trauma and the other injured female was taken to Johns Hopkins Children Center. She has since been treated and released.

Anne Arundel County schools issued a statement on Monday indicating that counselors would be made available to offer support to grieving students and staff at Chesapeake High School. Counselors will also be on-hand on Tuesday.

Police currently don’t have any additional info on the vehicle, aside from the fact that the Expedition sustained damage to the passenger side headlight, turn light and passenger side front quarter panel.
