Fire 5 displaced by 2 alarm house fire in AnnapolisA two-alarm house fire along Silopanna Road displaced five people in Annapolis on Wednesday, according to the Annapolis Fire Department.

Firefighters said that, when they arrived on the scene, they encountered heavy smoke from the single-family home.

It took crews about 40 minutes to get the inferno under control.

No injuries were reported.

Officials said that damage to the home was extensive and it is now uninhabitable.
