Baltimore County Councilman Todd Huff pleaded guilty to Driving Under the Influence on Thursday.
The guilty plea comes as part of a plea deal for his February 23 arrest.
Huff won’t be sentenced, though, until the end of next month.
Baltimore County Circuit Court Judge Timothy J. Martin said he would require more time to consider Huff’s sentence.
John Grason Turnbull III, Huff’s defense attorney, is seeking probation before judgment.
Prosecutor Chris Smith said probation before judgment wouldn’t be suitable in this case and is asking the judge for a sentence that could include the revoking of Huff’s driver’s license.
Sentencing is set for April 30 at 9 a.m.
