rabies Rabid cat captured in Milford MillDepartment of Health officials in both Baltimore and Frederick counties have recently found rabid cats.

Baltimore County health officials say they captured a rabid cat near Rhonda Court in Milford Mill. The cat was gray, tan and white and has since died.

Officials say that anyone who had contact with the cat or thinks their pet may have had contact with it between March 28 and April 12 should call the Department of Health immediately at 410-887-6011.

Authorities in Frederick County, meanwhile, also confirm that a rabid cat was captured on April 11 in Ijamsville between Green Meadows Petting Farm and St. Ignatius Loyola after it attacked someone.

Anyone who may have had contact with it should call their health care provider and contact the Health Department at 301-600-3342.
