Police in Baltimore City seized $55,000 in cash and $60,000 worth of heroin in a Tuesday drug bust.
The items were seized from a residence on St. George’s Street in North Baltimore. The home belonged to Anthony Hall, who was arrested early Tuesday morning.
“This is just another example of the fight that we have against violent criminals in Baltimore and a perfect example of what our officers are out to do every single day,” said Baltimore Police Major Rich Worley.
Hall has been in trouble with the law before. He’s reportedly a repeat violent offender with a 1991 first-degree murder conviction that earned him a 10-year prison sentence.
After receiving tips about drug activity in the neighborhood, detectives trailed Hall for a month before serving a warrant on Tuesday.
The investigation will continue to see whether or not Hall was working alone.
