On Tuesday, the organization signed free agent wide receiver Marcus Rivers.
The former University of Buffalo WR eventually spent time with the Green Bay Packers after going undrafted last season. He did not see any playing time during the regular season.
To make room for their new addition, the Ravens released quarterback Dayne Crist.
Rivers will now enter into a competition for the wide receiver slot that already includes the likes of Tandon Doss, Deonte Thompson, LaQuan Williams, David Reed, Tommy Streeter, Aaron Mellette, Gerrard Sheppard, Omarius Hines and Marlon Brown.
Rivers caught 60 passes for 615 yards and two TDs during his senior year at Buffalo.
He completed his college career with 8 TD reception.
