Police in Anne Arundel County say they’ve recovered close to $25,000 in stolen jewelry from three men who were caught after a brief pursuit.
At around 12:45 p.m. on Tuesday, officers responded to the 1600 block of Dunstable Green in Annapolis for report of a burglary.
Officers were given the description of a vehicle that was involved, and an officer later spotted that SUV traveling along I-97 near Route 32.
When police tried to stop the vehicle, two passengers fled on foot.
Eventually, the two passengers, as well as the driver who remained in the SUV, were apprehended and arrested.
Several stolen items were recovered from the vehicle and returned to their rightful owners.
The total value of property recovered is believed to be approximately $25,000.
Jeffery Perry Bachmann, 30, of Hanover; Karl Edward Stull, 41, of Denton; and Matthew James Carr, 25, of Pasadena, have been arrested and charged with burglary, destruction of property and theft.
