Grand Prix driver Josef Newgarden is going to the dogs (and cats).
On Thursday, Newgarden posed with a Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter, Inc. (BARCS) kitten as part of the shelter’s “Soft Side Campaign.”
He’s giving credit to the kittens for his second place finish in Sunday’s 2013 Grand Prix of Baltimore.
The campaign was begun to help fight animal neglect and abuse.
The pics all show tough guys cuddling with animals.
In prior months, Adam Jones, Matt Wieters and Nate McLouth of the Baltimore Orioles and Torrey Smith and Arthur Jones of the Baltimore Ravens have posed for the BARCS campaign.
