House Fire 2 alarm fire causes extensive damage to Gambrills homeMILLERSVILLE – Investigators in Anne Arundel County are trying to figure out what caused a fire that caused extensive damage to a home there.

At about 8 p.m. ET on Monday, firefighters responded to the 1700 block of Woolford Lane in Gambrills for a reported house fire.

The Anne Arundel County Fire Department reports that the first unit to arrive on the scene reported fire through the roof of a one-story, single-family home.

A second alarm was sounded, bringing a total of 45 firefighters to the scene.

Fire crews had the blaze under control within an hour.

Three adults were displaced as a result of the fire that is said to have caused $135,000 in total damage.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation. No injuries were reported.
