MILLERSVILLE – Officials with the Anne Arundel County Police Department announced on Monday that they had arrested the woman responsible for two recent Bank of Glen Burnie robberies and one recent BoGB robbery attempt.
Jamese Christine Queen robbed the Bank of Glen Burnie located at 101 Crain Highway South in Glen Burnie on September 13th and on September 28th.
She also attempted to rob the Bank of Glen Burnie located at 740 Stevenson Road in Severn on October 5th.
In the October robbery attempt, the suspect was seen driving away in a black Hyundai sedan and an employee was able to obtain the vehicle registration plate information.
Officers searched the area, but were initially unable to locate the suspect.
The physical description of the registered owner of the Hyundai, 47-year-old Queen, matched that of the female suspect. Detectives and agents from the Federal Bureau of Investigation were summoned and continued actively investigating the incident. The investigation confirmed that Jamese Queen was the suspect responsible for all three incidents.
Queen’s Hyundai was not located at the registered address. At about 4 p.m. ET on October 5, a police officer spotted the Hyundai, unoccupied, in the 200 block of Woodhill Drive in Glen Burnie.
Backup arrived and authorities found Queen in an apartment. She was taken into custody without incident.
The apartment and vehicle were subsequently searched and evidence from all three incidents was located.
Queen has been charged with two counts of robbery and theft over $1,000 and one count of attempted robbery.
