Alchemy Healing Arts Center, located at 107 Ridgely Avenue – Suite 13A, has developed an inclusive, handicapped accessible, holistic, healing center where all are welcome. The staff is trained in cutting-edge treatments that enrich the lives of their clients by relieving pain, restoring health and bringing ease and comfort to the individual.
“Alchemy’s approach is about treating the whole person and creating a healthy lifestyle,” Mayor Cohen said. “West Annapolis is home to a number of unique shops and unique services that focus on our diverse population, which is part of our City’s enduring appeal.”
Alchemy’s compassionate staff specializes in therapeutic massage, advanced light touch therapies and a range of healing arts, including CranioSacral and Lymph Drainage Therapy as well as powerful massage techniques such as Neuromuscular, Trigger Point, and Deep Tissue Massage. They also offer treatment for Pre-Natal, Lymphedema, and Oncology clients.
The Center also offers workshops and classes, including yoga and embodiment. Owners Amelia Mitchell and Laura Inman Mitchell opened in West Annapolis to create opportunities for the community to learn, grow, and experience new ways to enrich and enhance their lives.
“Waking up with energy and vibrancy, moving freely, and resting easily; these are just some of the reports we hear from our clients,” said Amelia. “It is our goal to be available to offer this healthy, healing alternative to anyone who is interested.”
“We live our lives within our bodies, yet often overlook taking care of them, and find ourselves in pain or suffering from other complaints or ailments,” said Laura. “We want to offer holistic options to individuals who may not be satisfied with their current course of treatment.”
