On Wednesday, Preston Lamont Scott II was arrested and charged with multiple counts of second-degree child abuse, sex abuse of a minor, first-, second-, third- and fourth-degree sex offenses, perverted practice, sodomy, and child pornography charges.

The charges stem from an investigation that began two months ago. During the course of the investigation, evidence revealed that Scott had sexually abused two children he had known for about six years. Due to the nature of the crimes, their identities are not being revealed.
