BWI Marshall Airport Cleaning agent sickens flight attendants at BWI MarshallHANOVER – Authorities are investigating after several flight attendants were sickened at BWI Marshall Airport on Wednesday afternoon.

At around 3 p.m. ET, four flight attendants reported feeling ill at Gate B-11.

Triage was established and hazmat crews were called to the scene.

Upon further inspection, BWI Fire & Rescue personnel determined that the illness was caused by a cleaning agent in use at the airport.

It was ruled non-hazardous.

Flight operations were not affected.
