Daquan Hobbs Glen Burnie woman victim of Thanksgiving Day robberyGLEN BURNIE – A woman was robbed in the laundry room of her Anne Arundel County apartment complex on Thanksgiving Day.

At just after noon on Thursday, officers responded to the 100 block of Warwickshire Lane in Glen Burnie for a report of an armed robbery.

Upon arriving at the scene, police spoke with the 17-year-old female victim, who who stated that she was entering the building when an unknown male suspect came out of the laundry room and pointed a gun at her.

The suspect then demanded her phone and fled the building.

A subsequent investigation led police to the unit block of Brooks Terrace in Glen Burnie.

There, police found a 15-year-old female trying to hide the cell phone. A 16-year-old male was identified as the suspect who committed the armed robbery. Additional evidence was located in the residence linking the suspect to the crime.

The first suspect, Daquan Donte Hobbs, 16, of Glen Burnie, was charged as an adult with robbery, armed robbery, first- and second-assault and theft charges. The second suspect, a 15-year-old female, was charged as a juvenile.
