Police Car Pizza delivery driver assaulted, robbed of food in Glen BurnieGLEN BURNIE; 11:15 a.m. ET – Police are investigating after a pizza delivery driver was assaulted and robbed by a group of males in Anne Arundel County on Friday.

At about 11:15 p.m. ET on Friday night, officers responded to the 400 block of Silverleaf Court in Glen Burnie for a report of an assault and robbery.

Upon arriving at the scene, police spoke with the 57-year-old male victim, who said he had been delivering food to a residence along Silverleaf Court.

As the driver approached the apartment building, he was approached by several black males, believed to be in their mid to late teens. The suspects assaulted the victim, knocking him to the ground.

While on the ground, the victim was kicked and punched by the suspects as one held a knife to his face.
The suspects then stole the food the driver had been trying to deliver.

The suspects are described as 4 to 6 black males in their mid to late teens, average build, one possibly wearing a gray and black sweatshirt, and one possible wearing a yellow and black sweatshirt.
