House Fire Darlington fire detroys homeDARLINGTON; 7:20 a.m. ET – A house fire in Harford County on Thursday night resulted in a total loss for the homeowner.

At about 11:45 p.m., crews responded to the 1800 block of Robinson Mill Road for a report of a house fire.

Upon arriving at the scene, firefighters found one-story single-family dwelling with attached garage that was on fire.

It took 50 firefighters from seven different fire companies about 30 minutes to control the blaze.

The fire did about $400,000 in damage and resulted in a total loss.  Officials say smoke detectors were not present in the home.

There were no injuries reported in the incident.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
