Married couple robbed while pumping gas

Police Car Married couple robbed while pumping gasGLEN BURNIE; 7:30 a.m. ET – Police are investigating after a married man and woman were robbed while pumping gas on Thursday night.

At about 9 p.m. Thursday night, officers responded to the 6600 block of Ritchie Highway in Glen Burnie for a report of a robbery.

Upon arriving at the scene, police spoke with the married victims, 20 and 21 years of age, who said the husband had been pumping gas with his wife sitting in the front seat.

A male suspect then sat in the driver’s seat and demanded the wife’s money and purse.  The suspect then began to walk away when the husband pursued him.

The suspect then demanded money from the husband, who indicated that he didn’t have any.  The subject then fled the scene.

The suspect is described as a white male, between 40-60 years of age, 5’11” – 6’ tall, very thin build, goatee, decaying teeth, southern accent, tattoo on left side of neck, wearing a dark blue hat (probably a baseball hat) and a dark blue sweater.
