Winter Weather Snarls Morning Rush Hour

The Baltimore area didn’t get all that much snow this morning, but what little snow did fall was certainly enough to cause headaches for area commuters.

A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for parts of Maryland until 10 a.m.

Although Wednesday saw near-record-high temperatures, a small area of low pressure moved through the region this morning resulting in snow and hazardous driving conditions.

Flurries started around 2 a.m. and are expected to continue on and off through the morning hours. Many areas are seeing a coating of snow develop, and the winter weather has led to plenty of fender benders.

So far, accidents have been reported on 295, 395, Greenspring Avenue and Route 7.

If you’re heading out this morning, be careful out there!
