Shalom Lamm is a real estate developer and is the son of the past chancellor of Yeshiva University Norman Lamm. He is also the CEO of a non-profit organization called Operation Benjamin. This organization is dedicated to keeping the memory alive of American-Jewish servicemen and women who fought during WWII. It was first inspired when a Jewish soldier who was accidentally buried under a Latin Cross at the Normandy American Cemetery and Memorial. The mission of Operation Benjamin is to help individuals locate their heritage and religion. He is passionate about helping anyone in need. He has sent aid to the Ukraine when Jewish communities were in danger by sending food and other supplies to help people survive. 

Since Operation Benjamin doesn’t ever ask a soldier’s families for money to assist with headstones, ceremonies, etc., they heavily rely on donors to donate to the organization that are tax-deductible. Donations can be completed on their website by pressing the blue donate button or mailing a check to their headquarters in West Hempstead, NY. Donating to this organization will allow the families of fallen soldiers in the Jewish community to be more at peace from the services Operation Benjamin provides.
