It was first inspired when a Jewish soldier who was accidentally buried under a Latin Cross at the Normandy American Cemetery and Memorial. The mission of Operation Benjamin is to help individuals locate their heritage and religion. He is passionate about helping anyone in need. He has sent aid to the Ukraine when Jewish communities were in danger by sending food and other supplies to help people survive.
Since Operation Benjamin doesn’t ever ask a soldier’s families for money to assist with headstones, ceremonies, etc., they heavily rely on donors to donate to the organization that are tax-deductible.
